If I enter the status page of the router when the connection becomes dead, I can see that my phone is listed as a connected device by its MAC address only. There's no IP or device name displayed for it. Does that mean anything? The problem does not reproduce on any other wireless router I tried.

Wireless Devices shows MAC Address for 1 device that doesn't have an IP Address I'm tracking down every device attached to my nighthawk router and I've identified every one except this. There is a Wirelsss Device listed when I log into the router that does NOT have an IP address but does have a MAC address.
